Type REG blabla?

Did you ever hear or see "Type REG (space) blablabla" ...?

Type REG (space) … [or in Bahasa we say Ketik REG (spasi)…]. Everybody must have known this sentence. Usually, this sentence shown on TV, but there’s some of them in radio or magazines. This sentence is used for doing registration of mobile facilities.

There are many facilities which given if we do the registration, such as games, quizzes, horoscopes, RBT-s, music, jokes, etc. Of course, we lost some of our vouchers if we make a registration by mobile.

There are some quizzes (or I would say all of them) that giving much money if we can answer it correctly. It’s pretty big amount! Rp 200 million, Rp 500 million, or other prizes. Pretty simple (we just have to send SMS), but really big cash back.

In fact, most of them give very easy question (I think that children in 2nd grade can answer it easily). It’s really easy!! This is an example: just count how many things are there before the time stopped and you will become a millionaire!!

This is the question. Is it good or not if we make a quizzes such like that? For the companies that make the quizzes, of course it will make much money for them. There will be a lot of people doing registration. But for people, it will make them stupid with their elementary school grade question and limited time trick. These quizzes just make them dreaming all the day about money that can be acquired without work, about money that they never owned. Just sit in the front of TV, buying voucher, sending SMS, and getting rich. One wastes their money, and the others get money. People trick the others. Simply, they become lazier than ever plus; our country can’t be an advanced country if we live in tricks.
